Many people carry around burdens and hurts that they can't seem to shake. Life is hard at times, and sometimes we question why are we going through so much, or we wonder why did this happen. Those are fair questions, and the truth of the matter is that we live in a fallen world. It was not supposed to be like this, but Adam ate of the fruit of the tree that God told him not to eat (Genesis 3:6). The world is in a fallen state, therefore we're born into sin and satan uses people to commit very evil acts. He goes to and fro in the Earth seeking whom he may devour (1Peter5:8). So we may encounter people who are under the control of satan because they're not saved, and they may do or say very hurtful things to us that we can carry around for a long time. I may not know why you had go to through what you went through, but I do know that God is real and can take the pain away! He says in Isaiah 61:3 "To appoint unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called the trees of righteous, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified." So whatever you're going through give it to God so He can exchange your hurt for joy and your ashes for beauty. Cast you cares on Him which means you throw whatever weight you're carrying off so He can pick it up. So if you grew up in a bad home and suffered abuse, whether physical or mental or both, whether you've gone through bad relationships, lost loved ones, etc, God loves you and wants you to be set free today. He loves you so much that He's speaking to you right now. Make the exchange today!
